Upcoming Performances

Thursday, April 4, 2019  Select Choir to the State Capitol for Great Expectations rally

We will be leaving the school at 7:30 a.m. sharp.  Please be at the school by 7:15 a.m.  We perform at 9:45-10:00 a.m. inside the state capitol.  At 10:30 a.m. we will leave and head to Edmond to eat lunch at Hideaway Pizza.  School will provide their lunch.  Students do not need money.  After we eat, we will make our way back to school.  We should be back to school by 2:00 ish.

Monday, April 22, 2019  Select Choir to perform at Humphrey Village for the E’Vent

We will meet at 5:40 p.m. at the Humphrey Village on 4th street.  We will be performing from 6:00-6:20 p.m.  Admission is $5.00 per person.  With that $5.00 you get a burger, chips, and water.  This is a fundraiser for the Enid Foundation.  The Enid Foundation gave our school a grant for $850 this year.  We were able to purchase 9 instruments with that money.  I would like our school to do whatever we can to support the Enid Foundation.  Performers do not need to pay $5.00 to perform, however, if they are going to eat, they will need to pay the $5.00.

Saturday, April 27, 2019 Select Choir will be going to Heartland Music Festival for competition and Frontier City

We will be leaving the school at 7:30 a.m.  We will perform 2 songs for competition at around 10:00 a.m.  (Our performance time has not yet been determined.)  Once we perform, we will load the bus and head over to Frontier City where we will spend the rest of our day.  At around 4:30 or 5:00 p.m. there will be an awards ceremony.  This will be where we receive our trophy for the day.  After the awards ceremony, we will load the bus and stop off at McDonald’s, next to the park, for supper.  After we eat we will make our way back to Enid.  I expect that we will arrive at the school around 8:00 or 8:30 p.m.  Students will need money for drinks while at the park and for McDonald’s.  Student lunches have already been purchased.  They will be having chicken strips, chips and a drink.
